Robustel’s EV8100 can turn voice (and DTMF tones) from ANY analogue phone or dialler into packetised voice using VoIP (SIP) or VoLTE – these options are user selectable. This means any legacy communication system using a PSTN line can be easily transformed into a low cost 4G based solution.
Another reason users need the EV8100 is because of the 2G/3G sunset and removal of CSD (Circuit Switched Data) from cellular networks globally. EV8100 allows users to seamlessly upgrade existing telephone equipment to a modern packet-switched solution.
EV8100 supports Docker for easy deployment of applications and benefits from ‘RobustOS Pro’ – Robustel’s latest Linux Debian bullseye based router OS with enhanced cybersecurity, advanced GUl and a myriad of software features including VPNs, Smart Roaming, SMS remote control and more.
RCMS is Robustel’s free router monitoring service that is fully compatible with the EV8100. lt allows customers to see a location overview of their routers quickly and simply on a map. Features such as data usage, signal strength, current network and much more can then be viewed on a per router basisOver-the-air updates are supported for Firmware, router configuration and Apps serving as essential “insurance” if anything was not quite right during deployment.
